How We Got Here

Welcome, Bodhisamadhi Center was founded in 2016 at Toronto by Buddhist master Dr. Sonam Topgyal , he  graduated from one of the three biggest monasteries called Sera Mey monastery in India, since His Holiness the 14th Dalai lama always guidance Buddhist masters that the Buddhist philosophy’s four noble truth, twelve branches of dependent arising, principle of interdependence, principle of selflessness, principle of middle conception, gender equality etc; it preaches equality, benevolence and harmony, is being endorsed and encouraged to contribute to a harmonious world and a peaceful society, so that  the Buddhist masters should take responsibility to contribute for having a peaceful world by using of what they have learnt in so many years . He also said everyone is responsible for world peace and harmony, which begins in the heart, because of people’s selfishness and lacking in the understanding the principle of interdependence, the world is facing different threat and crisis, therefor in this time, Buddhist philosophy could help in the purification of people’s dirty minds, and well understanding the importance of world peace. With keeping of His Holiness’s advices, Dr. Sonam Topgyal decided to start Bodhisamadhi Center based on meditation, purification of minds, to have a little contribution to the world peace.
